About The Position

Seeking a skilled and experienced Exchange Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Microsoft Exchange environment. This role requires a deep understanding of Exchange Server architecture, email security, and related technologies. Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Exchange Engineer or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2016/2019 and Office 365.
  • Strong understanding of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and email security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • 7 or more years of experience writing code (such as, and not limited to, Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net; databases like SqlServer/ Oracle; and Testing tools).
  • Experience of multiple full release cycles.
  • Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies.
  • Advanced understanding of modern software development tools and SCM.
  • Advanced understanding of Software Test methodologies, and an expert in testing tools.
  • Strong General Project Management.
  • Advanced Web Technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated influencing skills, high level of technical and team leadership skills.

  • Implement and manage email security measures, including DMARC, DKIM, SPF, spam filtering and data loss prevention.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, security, and system performance.
  • Implement and manage email security measures, including spam filtering and data loss prevention.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Exchange with other systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Exchange Server and related technologies.
