JOB OVERVIEW: This position may work in a variety of locations within the warehouse and will be responsible for picking orders, shipping products, putting away product and checking orders for accuracy.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions
  • Basic math and logic skills required
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines.
  • Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.
  • 1 or more years on experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience using warehouse software/ERP systems, AS400 or similar, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products preferred.
  • High School degree or equivalent preferred
  • Training or education in warehousing/logistics a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performs assigned production operations with care and efficiency maintaining production levels (KPIs) required documentation, service recommendations. This may include one or more of the following: picking products, rotation and stocking of product/parts, packaging product; and/or shipping product all per department requirements.
  • Accurately maintains all required documentation including individual production records; and verifies all documentation as it pertains to product/parts to ensure accuracy. May be required to enter data into an ERP system.
  • Reports errors in product selection/labeling, product location or quality to appropriate team member or area and/or ensures that orders are corrected as necessary before shipment.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area, disposing of empty boxes or packaging appropriately.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
