About The Position

US Commercial Field Marketing Director, Sports Medicine Life. Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. Join us as a US Commercial Field Marketing Director, supporting our Sports Medicine Americas business and partnering closely with sales leaders across the United States. This is a unique opportunity to own product execution, drive strategic commercial initiatives and play a leading role in shaping growth across some of our most important business segments. What will you be doing? • Lead product and program execution for assigned business segments, ensuring strong alignment to sales leadership and commercial strategy • Partner with sales leaders to design and implement tactical plans that drive both immediate and long term growth • Identify and engage competitive KOLs and key Fellowship and Residency programs • Coach and support the field team, ensuring strong focus on priority segments • Support sales training, professional education events, MedEd programs, tradeshows, district meetings and other commercial activities • Serve as the segment expert, gathering market intelligence, competitive insights and key clinical trends to inform commercial decision making • Partner with Global Marketing to shape messaging, share in market intelligence and support VOC initiatives • Follow up on MedEd events to ensure adoption of targeted products and procedures • Lead dedicated marketing projects aligned to corporate priorities, partnering with the VP to deliver initiatives that grow the business and build team capabilities What will you need to be successful? • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Biology or a related medical field • 8 or more years of marketing and sales management experience in the medical device industry • Strong communication, presentation, analytical and financial skills • Proven leadership experience and the ability to influence cross functional partners Travel: up to 50% domestic You Unlimited. The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $170,000-210,000 USD annually and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Biology or a related medical field
  • 8 or more years of marketing and sales management experience in the medical device industry
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical and financial skills
