US Carrier B2B Sales Account Executive

About The Position

Apple's Sales organization drives revenue to support the development of products and services that enrich lives globally. The sales team serves as the primary contact for Apple's largest customers. In this role, you will manage a significant B2B segment for one of Apple's major carrier resellers of iPhone. You will collaborate internally and externally to develop, present, and execute strategies to expand the business. This involves leveraging your deep understanding of the carrier business and industry to address market challenges, mitigate risks, maximize opportunities, and build momentum. Utilizing strong relationship-building skills and a passion for solution-based selling, you will facilitate interactions and negotiate deals across Apple product lines within Apple Business, aiming to deliver industry-leading customer experiences and increase adoption of the Apple ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Background in technology sales, solution based selling, account development, consulting, or similar function developing channel growth strategies with partners
  • Significant experience in carrier, wireless, and/or telecom business environment
  • Experience working with businesses across Small Business, Mid Markets, Enterprise, and/or Public Sector
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the carrier business (e.g., customer profiles, trends, challenges, opportunities, competitive landscape, etc.)
  • Ability to establish processes and drive excellence that elevates your external and internal partners
  • Expertise in executive relationship management
  • Outstanding communication, executive presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to analyze trends, develop insights, and identify opportunities to create solutions and accelerate business growth
  • Strong negotiator and conflict resolver, trusted by HQ to manage complex contracts
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally and navigate partner organizational structures
  • Proven problem solver who enhances operations and elevates team performance
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic)

Responsibilities

  • Be the face of the B2B business for this partner in your region and for your B2B segment.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with partners at all levels, including executive decision-makers, and cultivate cross-functional connections within Apple to align objectives and secure optimal outcomes.
  • Identify new business opportunities, define and execute new models, outline negotiation strategies, and execute deals to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Guide initiatives to improve account performance and partner dedication to Apple products, facilitating all aspects of account management from day-to-day to strategic interactions.
  • Develop, negotiate, and finalize deals, including agreement drafting, and build a pipeline of longer-term opportunities in conjunction with other B2B teams.
  • Understand partner challenges and perspectives, building strong business acumen and credibility to create the perfect intersection of Apple and partner objectives.
  • Drive enablement initiatives that highlight the value of Apple in Business.
