The US Accountant will be responsible for: Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles Manage automated reconciliation of cash and credit card receipts to point of sale receipts, investigate any variances Reconcile ACH payments against system transactions, record all fees and withdrawals via journal entries Record biweekly payroll and month end accruals Update balance sheet reconciliations and roll forwards to ensure accurate cash reporting Collaborate with team members across departments to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 2+ years of experience as an accounting professional Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and superior attention to detail Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team Capacity and desire to be agile in a fast-paced environment Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other analytical formulas and tools.
