About The Position

The US Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records within the Finance Department. In this position, you will manage a wide range of accounting responsibilities including general ledger management and financial statement preparation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role is essential for driving continuous improvement in financial processes and supporting the company's fiscal health.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3 years in U.S. Accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing and payment processing.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Prepare monthly corporate credit liquidation reports.
