About The Position

The Urology RN Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of care within the Urology service line. This includes responsibility for direct patient care, patient/family education and supporting program development. The RN will work collaboratively with clinic providers, scheduling and surgical services to ensure high quality, compassionate and personalized care is achieved. This individual will deliver care and services in accordance with the philosophy of Riverwood Healthcare Center and in compliance with the standards of professional nursing practice and all state laws and regulations. Additional requirements include works collaboratively with other support services within the organization; utilizes resources efficiently and economically; demonstrates leadership skills through effective communication, problem-solving, and professional conduct. This position coordinates services and/or provides care to patients of all ages.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an School of Nursing with an Associate Degree or higher.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Minnesota.
  • Experience in Nursing, knowledge of aseptic technique and ability to operate highly technical equipment and high-level disinfection is desired.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous urology experience preferred.
  • Experience with Epic strongly preferred.
