As a Urology R&D Engineering Intern at Boston Scientific, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative solutions for urology patients and clinicians. This internship is designed for current Bachelor's students in their senior year or graduate students pursuing degrees in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Systems, Materials, or Packaging Engineering. The internship will take place from May to August 2025, with flexible dates, and will be based in Marlborough, MA, Arden Hills, or Mionka, MN. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that encourages collaboration and innovation, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to new product development that drives future products toward regulatory approval and commercial launch. During your internship, you will engage in various tasks, including analyzing data to support solutions to a variety of problems, preparing standard reports to communicate results to a technical community, and assisting in troubleshooting new product and process issues. You will also have the chance to translate customer needs into product requirements and design specifications, train technicians on new processes, and support the development of concepts and designs for new products. The internship will provide you with exposure to different functions within the company, including Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, and Process Development, allowing you to explore various career options.
