About The Position
UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a skilled Urology Physician with robotics experience to join our team in Athens, Texas. This full-time position provides a balance of outpatient and inpatient care, offering the opportunity to practice advanced robotic-assisted urologic procedures while managing a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and have experience with robotic surgery. Patient Load: 20-25 patients per day (outpatient & inpatient combined) Surgical Volume: 1- 5 surgical patients per week (robotic and non-robotic cases) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Call Schedule: 10 days per month and 1 weekend Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding—leading to better work-life balance and revenue.
Requirements
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Urology.
- Robotics experience required (Da Vinci Robotic platform preferred).
