JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Urology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Chambersburg, PA • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Call Only • Coverage Period: September 1, 2026 – Ongoing (PRN) • On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) • Call Type: Beeper • Call Ratio: PRN (approximately every 12–14 weeks) • Callback Rate: Approximately 10–12 hours per day COVERAGE DATES • September 1 (7:00 AM) – September 8 (7:00 AM) • November 16 (7:00 AM) – November 23 (7:00 AM) PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics • Patient Volume/Census: NTB • Rounding: Included as needed • Phone Consults: Included (multi-site coverage) • Case Mix: General urology cases FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 76 Hospital Beds • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard hospital resources • Support Staff Available: No APP support • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (with clean file) • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Not Specified REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General urology procedures • Surgical coverage as needed • Emergency urologic care JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active PA license required (willing to license) • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology • DEA: Required • Certifications: Not Specified • Experience: Relevant urology experience required • Other Qualifications: Strong communication skills preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide 24-hour on-call urology coverage including hospital and surgical cases • Respond to consults and emergency urologic needs • Manage patient care across multiple facilities via phone support as needed • Perform surgical procedures as required • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
