As an Electric Service Operations Intern, you will support the Customer Fulfillment team in delivering exceptional service to external customers requesting electric service. You’ll gain hands-on experience in utility operations, customer engagement, and project coordination while contributing to real-world service delivery.

Requirements

• Rising junior senior or grad student enrolled in a curriculum leading to a baccalaureate or master’s degree in finance, accounting or business from an accredited college or university program.
• GPA requirement: 3.00 or higher
• Able to provide an official student transcript and other required information.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Travel within the service territory may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing customer requests for electric service, ensuring timely communication and resolution of basic inquiries.
• Support the processing of service contracts and agreements to facilitate construction work.
• Help validate and process non-utility billing and CIAC (Cost in Advance of Construction) estimates.
• Contribute to the design and cost estimation of simple electric service projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and service level agreements are upheld.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional initiatives to learn best practices and contribute ideas.
