About The Position

The Security Officer position is available for both full-time and part-time roles near Westborough and Worcester, MA, with a starting rate of $16.00 per hour, depending on the site. All shifts are available, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with a preference for weekend availability. The role involves providing professional customer service, controlling access to client sites, observing and reporting incidents, responding to emergencies, ensuring site security through patrols, and monitoring CCTV.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Some sites require a 2nd on-site interview.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service: 2+ years preferred.
• Security experience: 1+ years preferred.
• Entry to intermediate level of computer experience.
• Prior military/law enforcement encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service.
• Control access (entrance and exit) to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Observe, report, and prepare logs/reports on incidents or suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergency situations following procedures established for the site.
• Ensure the client site is secured by mobile and foot patrols (varies by the client site).
• Follow client site policies and procedures.
• Monitor CCTV.
