About The Position

VetUrgency, a BluePearl Veterinary Partners hospital, in Frederick, MD is hiring a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to work in our well-equipped facility with our experienced and skilled support staff. Schedule: Set days, no confusing rotations. Preference to 3 short evenings (6 hour shift- 6pm-midnight) and one long weekend day (12pm-midnight). VetUrgency aims to provide quality, compassionate, timely veterinary care on evenings and weekends. With a patient care model designed to reduce the stress, time, and cost associated with regular emergency hospitals while still providing an uncompromised standard of care. VetUrgency, Frederick is proud to offer: Cloud-based EMR and treatment sheet programs, all paperless. Cubex pharmacy dispensing system, secured controlled substances. Generous Sign-on bonus. Digital radiology, ultrasound, a full on-site lab and other specialty level equipment. You will have the ability to consult with Boarded Surgeons in our shared space as needed, plus free on-demand tele-consultations with Boarded Criticalists through the BluePearl network. Requirements

DVM/VMD degree required.
Current, and in good standing, license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in urgent situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
