About The Position

VCA Urgent Care Animal Hospital - Tustin is seeking a Veterinarian to join our team in Tustin, CA. This position offers an innovative approach to urgent care, fully utilizing technology, staffing, and thoughtfully designed workflows that allow you to leave work on time and increase your earning potential. The hospital environment is brand new, warm, and welcoming, designed for both pets and people. You will be supported by 4-6 associates per DVM, including team members dedicated to help with your medical records. The focus will be on connecting with clients, diagnosing pets, and putting together treatment plans while working with like-minded colleagues that support a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Valid veterinary license in the state of California.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with clients.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in urgent care or emergency veterinary medicine.
• Interest in continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care for pets with common concerns such as allergic reactions, diarrhea, vomiting, ear infections, eye issues, fleas/ticks/mites, wounds/lacerations, lethargy, loss of appetite, pain or limping, respiratory disease, toxin ingestion, and urinary issues.
• Work four 10-hour shifts with one weekend day per week.
• Utilize technology and workflows to enhance efficiency and patient care.
