About The Position
The Urgent Care Technician will be responsible for delivering urgent care to ICC and Express Care patients. This role requires experience in working with high acuity patients in a fast-paced medical environment. The technician will support nursing and medical staff in the care of Immediate/Express Care patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, or Physician. The position involves providing direct care to assigned patients, coordinating care with the RN on duty, and performing various patient care tasks and procedures to ensure the comfort and safety of patients. The technician will also be involved in patient triage, documentation, and quality improvement activities.
