About The Position

Greet patients and determine nature of the visit; prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider Compensation Pay Range: $25.25 - $35.36 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintain patient's safe passage in and out of the practice Greet, assess and interview patients Obtain past medical and surgical history, family history, social history, vital signs Review present medications, allergy history, chief complaint Prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider Anticipate needs of patients, and the provider Monitoring of patient during examination, or procedure Maintain and update level of skill for pertinent paramedic duties Maintain patient care areas Stocking and ordering of supplies as needed, and maintaining clean exam rooms Charge and code supplies, medications, and procedures Respond to patient's concerns in person or by telephone while simultaneously documenting the problem Maintains patient confidentiality Administers medications and IVs per physician’s orders Perform a variety of preliminary procedures, including phlebotomy, injections, throat cultures and more

Requirements

  • EMT-P Current Massachusetts Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Licensure
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
