About The Position

Performs clinical support in an urgent care setting and participates in front desk and registration activities to ensure exceptional patient flow/care and optimize throughput of patients.
This individual will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Urgent Care Center.
This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs for unscheduled care.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required. References in these areas are a must

Requirements

• 2 years experience with front desk operations and/or as medical assistant in a physician’s practice or 2 years experience as a Critical Care Technician or above.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Current CMA or RMA – Certified or Registered Medical Assistant License or 2 years experience as a Critical Care Technician or equivalent.
• BLS required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office software.
