About The Position

The Urgent Care Physician position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, promoting a healthy work-life balance. This role does not require nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors while utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states and receive comprehensive training, including a wound fellowship, to ensure clinical excellence. Full-time W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a typical work schedule of 45 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients.
• Document clinical information in real-time using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
