About The Position

Cook Children's Physician Network is seeking a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join our dynamic Urgent Care team. This is a half-time opportunity for a pediatrician with strong procedural skills who thrives in a team environment and champions excellent outcomes for our sicker children. Candidates with pediatric urgent care or emergency department experience strongly preferred. This position requires part-time (.50 FTE) commitment with 6-7 shifts per month (approximately).

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
• Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics.
• Board certified/Board Eligible in their specialty area.
• Pediatric urgent care or emergency department experience preferred.
