Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Utah.
  • Active DEA registration and Utah Controlled Substance License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively engage with patients and team members.
  • Proven ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build trust and rapport with patients, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.
  • Sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with a high level of initiative.
  • Professional presence and advanced communication skills to navigate complex situations and represent the clinic with integrity and confidence.

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS or other relevant certifications preferred, depending on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care and treatment in accordance with established clinical guidelines and under physician supervision.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals across all age groups, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries, including prescribing medications as appropriate.
  • Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR), ensuring compliance with coding, billing, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice.
  • Order, interpret, and assess diagnostic tests and laboratory results to support clinical decision-making.
  • Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
  • Prescribe appropriate treatments, interventions, and medications in alignment with clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and an outstanding patient experience.
  • Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as needed.
