Sole provider Urgent Care clinic Average 14-28 PPD Support staff includes: 1 MA 1 receptionist Schedule: Current coverage needs: April 2-8 April 8-14 April 16-22 April 23-29 April 30 - May 6 May 7-13 May 14-20 May 21-27 May 28 - June 3 Onsite orientation prior​ to 1st shift required Patient Population: All ages EMR: Athena Credentialing: 30 days

Requirements

  • Active Michigan licensure
  • Board certification
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum 1-year Urgent Care experience or equivalent
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics)
  • Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program
  • Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in
  • National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP])
  • Active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in
  • National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
  • Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
