About The Position

Urgent Care NP or PA needed in Grand Prairie, TX Methodist Medical Group (MMG) a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Urgent care clinic in Grand Prairie, TX to work collaboratively with team of providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. MMG in Dallas, Texas, is a leading, multi-specialty physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System. MMG offers a spectrum of medical and surgical specialties including; Primary Care, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Hospital Medicine, Neurological Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedic Surgery, Transplant Surgery and various other specialty service lines. With more than 360 employed providers across seven acute-care hospitals and over 90 clinics, MMG is committed to delivering high-quality compassionate care. Position Highlights: Full-time employment (13 shifts per month) with a competitive compensation package Weekdays are 12hr shifts (8am - 8pm) Weekends are 10hr shifts (9am - 7pm) Urgent Care is open 365 days per year; providers rotate holiday coverage Collaborative work environment within a well-respected medical group Opportunity to serve the Grand Prairie community

Requirements

  • Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Texas medical license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • NP/PA experience in Urgent Care setting, REQUIRED
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
  • Must be able to treat infants to geriatrics (0-99 yrs)
  • Perform procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
