About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Urgent Care NP or PA to join the Northern Nevada Health System ’s growing Urgent Care network in beautiful Reno, Nevada. Quick Facts Employment type: Employed, full-time position Schedule: 15 shifts per month; Urgent Care hours are Monday–Friday (8 am-7 pm); Saturday-Sunday (9-5 pm); one weekend per month, one holiday per year Call: None Patient Volume: Average of 25-35 patients (volumes vary) Practice Setting: Two outpatient clinics – NNMG Kietzke Urgent Care and NNMG Vista Urgent Care Support/Care Team: MAs, front office staff EMR and Featured Technology: Cerner, AI Scribe, Dragon; X-ray and ultrasound available on site Responsibilities Provide urgent care services for all ages Perform essential urgent care procedures like splinting and suturing, toenail removal, and addressing challenges related to occupational health Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities including referrals, same day closure of notes, ensuring all prescriptions are processed and sent before patient leaves the clinic, production of after visit summaries Document clinical care using Cerner Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary: $150K to $160K range No State Income Tax Commencement bonus Relocation assistance Generous PTO Dedicated CME days + CME allowance Annual licensure reimbursement Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance 401(k) Matching Program Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of Urgent Care experience required (following training) Appropriate licensure/certification for NPs or PAs Active or ability to obtain an unrestricted Nevada medical license New graduates and visa candidates will not be considered for this opportunity Growth & Development Collaborative and experienced healthcare team providing mentorship/training; Medical Director available for questions and support. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Urgent Care experience required (following training)
  • Appropriate licensure/certification for NPs or PAs
  • Active or ability to obtain an unrestricted Nevada medical license
  • New graduates and visa candidates will not be considered for this opportunity
