Urgent Care Medical Assistant- Certified
About The Position
In an Urgent Care setting, perform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests. Perform associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering telephones. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow. The primary work location for this position is Seattle but depending on business need the incumbent may be required to work at any of the Seattle Children’s Urgent Care locations. This position will work a combination of 7 and 10 hour shifts Hours will be between 4-11:30pm Monday-Friday and 10:30am - 9pm on weekends
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Medical Assistant Certified by Washington State Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Medical Assistant or medical office experience.
- Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization.
- Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification.
