We’re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Urgent Care team. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current, active Virginia LPN license required
- Solid understanding of nursing principles and clinical procedures
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor
- Ability to make patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
- Flexibility to travel between urgent care sites as needed
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, adaptable attitude
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care and exceptional customer service in a busy urgent care environment
- Assist providers with general nursing duties and clinical procedures
- Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and maintain accurate records in the EMR
- Administer medications and injections per provider orders, ensuring complete and accurate documentation
- Update patient records during each visit, including medications, allergies, and medical/family history
- Respond to patient phone calls, provide clinical guidance when appropriate, and route messages to providers
- Support clinic operations across multiple urgent care locations as needed
