About The Position

CareNow Urgent Care is seeking a board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Fredericksburg, Virginia Market. The position involves providing urgent care services to patients aged three months and up, with a focus on outpatient care without hospital rounds or ER calls.

Requirements

• Board certified as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner
• Willingness to obtain Virginia state medical licensure
• Comfortable seeing patients of all ages

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients aged three months and up
• Perform first reads on x-rays
• Conduct patient treatment procedures for acute illnesses or injuries
• Provide pediatric and adult care
• Perform incision and drainage (I&D) procedures
• Suture wounds as necessary
