About The Position

Overview: Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics. Experience in general pediatric practice, urgent care or emergency medicine is desired. A minimum of 2 years pediatric or family medicine experience is preferred. The position offers a flexible schedule of 32-36 clinical hours per week. The duration of shifts is primarily eight hours. Weekend-only option is available for additional compensation. Job Description Summary: Provides medical care and treatment to patients. Job Description: Essential Functions: Conducts patient assessments and diagnoses medical conditions. Develops and implements treatment plans for patients in accordance with established protocols. Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Communicates with patients and their families to provide education and support. Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient and coordinates care with other healthcare professionals. Participates in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows as required. Stays up-to-date with medical advancements and research to provide the best possible care.

Requirements

  • Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics, required.
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine equivalent, required.
  • Graduate of an approved Fellowship program if applicable, required.
  • Medical License in the State of Ohio, required.
  • Unrestricted licensed physician, required.
  • Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the division.
