Urethane Prep - 1st Shift
About The Position
Molded Dimensions, located in Port Washington, manufactures precision molded rubber and cast polyurethane mechanical components used in a variety of industries from heavy machines to small engines, marine, waste management, automotive, medical food processing, construction and mining, to name a few. We are looking for a motivated Resin Prep on 1st shift to help monitor inventory and prepare urethane material to be used throughout the Urethane Plant. This fast-paced position will provide front end support to our production process and will be a key contributor to our manufacturing process.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately use measurement tools and equipment is necessary
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills required
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Be Reliable!

Responsibilities
- The Mold Prep will ensure urethane material is prepared and available for production schedules on a daily basis.
- Responsible for mixing materials (resins, curatives, pigments, etc) by weighing and measuring specific amounts in accordance with formulas and established guidelines.
- Interpret formula sheets and accurately measuring and dosing resin and material additives into properly sized buckets.
- Ensuring molders have material ready and heated for every job on the production schedule.
- Monitor material inventory and alerting production scheduler when inventory levels are low.
- Keeping the work area very clean and organized.
