About The Position

URBN is searching for a Talent Analyst. The Talent Analyst is a role in the Human Resources department at URBN and will contribute to data-driven strategic HR insights across all URBN brands and divisions. The Talent Analytics function provides reporting, analysis, and insights to teams to support business needs, inform business decisions, and improve the overall employee experience at URBN.

Requirements

  • Education and/or 2-3 years of experience working in research/data analysis, in an HR environment; experience working in retail preferred.
  • Proven track record of unquestionable business and personal integrity; ability to handle confidential data.
  • Intermediate to advanced Sheets/Excel skills.
  • Experience with business intelligence/dashboarding tools preferred, e.g., Qlik, Cognos, Tableau, Looker.
  • Experience with survey tools like Perceptions/Employee Voice, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, etc. and analyzing survey responses.
  • Knowledge of analytic techniques and methods; demonstrated critical thinking ability.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a service-oriented approach to their work as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for URBN Brands and our diverse employee and customer populations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the HR team to design and implement new studies, analyze data, and report on results of talent and HR processes and initiatives.
  • Extract and analyze data from multiple sources; automate reporting where possible through scheduling or self-service dashboards.
  • Design, analyze and report on employee surveys; administer all surveys and reports in Employee Voice survey tool; liaise with cross-functional partners on employee survey timeline and communications.
  • Create presentation decks and reports using Slides, Sheets, BI systems, and other data visualization tools.
  • Resolve tickets and provide excellent customer service through an HRSD (HR Service Delivery).
  • Ensure accuracy and quality review of all products/reports (system audits, data quality checks).
  • Research workforce trends for benchmarking.
  • Maintain process documentation within the Talent Analytics function (SOPs, report libraries).
