About The Position

URBN is seeking a Program Manager, Personalization who will help to drive innovation and sales across the URBN portfolio (Urban Outfitters, Free People, Anthropologie, Nuuly, & Terrain) through the development, execution, and measurement of Personalization programs across Web, App, and CRM. The role acts as a key conduit between URBN Brand teams, central Digital and Technology teams, and Personalization platform vendors. The role will help to guide a variety of Personalization project requirements, vendor delivery, and brand strategies. The right candidate will have several years of experience with Personalization campaigns, including algorithmic approaches, audience and content strategies, and affinity and behavioral targeting. Collaboration, strong attention to detail, and data and analytics are an integral part of this position.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Personalization approaches, including real-time Trigger campaigns, Onsite Content, and Product Recommendations
  • Rich experience with applying Personalization strategies across Web, App, Email, Push, and SMS
  • Rich experience with audience segmentation, including via Customer affinities, behaviors, and attributes, including via both 1st and 3rd party data sources
  • Proficiency with a variety of algorithmic approaches to Personalization
  • Ability to manage execution of A/B/n tests of personalization campaigns and understand results
  • Ability to analyze campaigns and draw findings from analysis to impact strategy
  • eCommerce experience strongly preferred
  • Dynamic Yield and/or Bluecore experience a plus
  • Proactive and collaborative spirit

  • Agile in a fast-paced business environment with constant change

Responsibilities

  • Manage global Personalization initiatives across URBN Brands and global markets to implement dynamic Personalized experiences across Web, App, and outbound CRM channels
  • Utilize Personalization and analytics platforms to help Brands identify new opportunities, optimize campaigns, design and setup AB tests, troubleshoot bugs, and measure performance
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships across Marketing, Analytics, Product/UX, Engineering, and Web Production teams
  • Develop and utilize strong understanding of Customer journeys, segmentation, and attributes
  • Translate how Personalization algorithms translate to Customer experiences and strategize with Brands on how and when to use them across channels
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to build strategic and tactical roadmaps based on clear Demand driving priorities and see ideas through to delivery and optimization
  • Regularly audit Personalization efforts for new insights and shared learnings across the Brands
