About The Position

The Urban Planning Intern/Co-Op position at Larson Design Group offers an opportunity for junior or senior students pursuing a degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field. Requirements

• Junior or senior student working towards their Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field of study.
• Experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Possesses knowledge of planning principles, best practices, & techniques of planning.
• Utilizes written and graphic skills for developing and presenting planning reports and projects.
• Able to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Serves as an assistant facilitator during workshops.
• Performs a variety of tasks related to the collection, analysis, and interpretation of a variety of quantitative and qualitative data to prepare reports and maps.
• Supports field evaluations and assessments.
• Assists the project manager and Senior Planner with project execution.
• Researches requirements and standards.
