Urban Outfitters is looking for a Social Media intern to join us for the Summer. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the social media team, helping to keep campaigns organized, content flowing, and insights up to date. You'll also assist with trend tracking and audience research to help the team stay ahead of what's next in culture and content. See for yourself what our past & present interns are up to @urbncareers! The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

  • Assist with scheduling and organizing content calendars across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Help coordinate content approvals, asset management, and internal communications.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, trends, and community feedback.
  • Conduct research on emerging social trends, creators, and cultural moments relevant to the UO audience.
  • Support the preparation of performance reports and analytics summaries.
  • Assist with influencer tracking, outreach documentation, and campaign recaps.
  • Take notes during team meetings and help maintain project timelines and task lists.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Passion for social media, digital storytelling, and youth culture.
  • Familiarity with major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) and their features.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; experience with social media tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, or Canva) is a plus.
