Standard company benefits, including a transit benefit of $125/month Projects that truly improve lives through safe, inclusive design rooted in ethics, empathy, and equity What You’ll Do You will apply broad knowledge of design principles, methods, graphic design techniques, sustainable design, and spatial design to landscape architecture and urban design tasks, using judgment to independently select and adapt methodology to design tasks. Independently designs and completes projects and prepares comprehensive project documents. Some job duties can be performed from home. Local travel required approximately 5%.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, architecture, urban design, or a related field and 5 years of experience in Urban Design, Architecture, or closely related occupation. Alternatively, we will accept a Master’s degree in landscape architecture, architecture, urban design, or related field and 3 years of experience in Urban Design, Architecture, or closely related occupation.
  • Three years of experience in Hand Sketching and software skills (including Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, and AutoCAD)
  • 6 months of project management experience
  • 3 years of experience preparing and reviewing construction documents

Responsibilities

  • Apply broad knowledge of design principles, methods, graphic design techniques, sustainable design, and spatial design to landscape architecture and urban design tasks
  • Independently designs and completes projects
  • Prepares comprehensive project documents
