In Washington, DC, our Urban Adventures tours uncover the stories behind the monuments. From iconic landmarks and vibrant neighbourhoods to the hidden histories and local food spots that many visitors miss, our guides bring the capital to life in unexpected ways. Our travellers don’t just visit the city’s famous sites - they experience the culture, people, and stories that make DC truly unique. This is a part-time seasonal role in DC. The hourly wage is $26.50 USD plus gratuities. Being a Tour Leader with Intrepid, you will do just that!
Requirements
- Excellent communication in English and ideally one other local language (the more the better!)
- Strong customer service experience and experience in developing a rapport with a broad range of traveller's
- Ability to manage trip budget and handle sums of money
- Map reading skills and a good sense of direction
- Requires a Valid Driver's License
Nice To Haves
- A willingness to work flexible hours according to the groups needs
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates recommended
