About The Position

Roxbury is currently recruiting for a dedicated and detail oriented clinician to work with our staff treatment teams in obtaining continuing care for our patients. Great work environment - Monday through Friday day shift on our acute psychiatric units. Also part-time position available on our substance use disorder unit. This position qualifies for a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time and $1,500 for part-time!! Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Psychology or other related field which includes a practicum in health or human service agency preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field and two years of experience in a health or human services agency required
  • current licensure in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing with two years of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in reviewing admissions for appropriate authorizations, continued treatment stays for all levels of care, working closely with Business Office staff to assure payment of treatment stays and timely appeals of denied cases.
  • Works closely with the Directors of Clinical, Intake and Nursing and assist with documentation review and trainings.
  • Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly
