About The Position

We are currently looking for a qualified Utilization Review Coordinator to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals. The UR Coordinator is responsible for interfacing with the treatment team, external case managers and managed care organizations to obtain required authorizations for all levels of care. The UR Coordinator conducts initial and concurrent reviews with insurance companies. The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting. Our services also includes partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology.
• Experience in Utilization Review.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and collegially with all clinical disciplines.
• Knowledge of regulatory and insurance reimbursement requirements.
• Ability to monitor and evaluate records for quality and appropriateness of care.
• Good time management skills and ability to multitask.
