About The Position
The Office of Precollege Outreach and Engagement at CU Boulder welcomes applications for Resident Advisors! Advisors (RA's) are responsible for ensuring the wellness and overall positive experience of University of Colorado Upward Bound Program summer participants. RA's serve as valuable program resources and have many different leadership responsibilities. Some of these responsibilities include being first-responders, forming relationships with and among their residents/peers, and serving as a positive peer leader. RA's also must enforce CUUB standards and University policies to ensure safety and cultivate environments that are welcoming and conducive to living and learning. RA's are selected for their leadership skills, interpersonal abilities, capacity for partnership, positive and compassionate attitudes, and sense of responsibility. RA's are responsible for fostering and facilitating a positive community among residents, promoting a safe and comfortable living environment, and serving as a representative and role model for the University and the Upward Bound Program.
