About The Position

Join our Acute Care and Monitoring business as a Global Principal Upstream Product Manager for HealthCast™ medical-grade wearable technologies and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of patient monitoring both in hospitals and at home. This position involves managing the existing wearable offerings, leading innovation, and making a tangible impact on patient care. You will work on cutting-edge technology that revolutionizes care delivery, collaborating with a dynamic team of engineers, marketers, and healthcare professionals to develop products that improve patient outcomes. HealthCast™ is a franchise at ACM which plays in the dynamic and fast-growing remote patient monitoring market comprised of wearables, central monitoring, data analytics and connectivity. You will identify customer needs and align them with broader business objectives. You will define the strategy and roadmap for medical-grade wearables, driving the development of business cases and plans. This role oversees the HealthCast wearable offering, value proposition, and business cases, with a strong emphasis on analytics. Success requires cross-functional collaboration, a deep understanding of technology and clinical workflows, identifying strategic partnerships, and making independent prioritization decisions while keeping patient and customer outcomes at the forefront. To excel in this role, you need strong business acumen, the ability to work across teams to execute the roadmap, effective communication skills at all organizational levels, prioritization of development efforts, and the capability to lead through influence and chart a direction for the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, or technical role with a Bachelor's degree is required or 8+ years of relevant experience in marketing, sales or technical role with an Advanced degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a coordinated, long-range medical device grade wearable technology roadmap and plan that meets customer (payer, physician, consumer) requirements and aligns with ACM strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to the annual strategic planning process.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases to identify and evaluate new business opportunities; assess market opportunities through detailed market modeling, financial modeling, define unmet needs and value propositions, monitoring competitive landscape, understanding technology.
  • Obtain, analyze and summarize key market and customer needs through voice of customers, key opinion leaders, internal stakeholders and primary or secondary market research.
  • Collaborate with partners and R D teams to translate market and business requirements into customer requirements into meaningful projects/products and negotiate trade-offs necessary to meet technical feasibility and customer commitments.
  • Partner with regional teams to understand market requirements and wearables opportunities outside the US.
  • Present strategic plans and business cases to senior leaders.
  • Lead assessment of new wearables technologies in partnership with marketing and business development leaders.
  • Build a deep understanding of the wearables competitive landscape.
  • Work with downstream marketing team to launch products.
  • Capture customer insights to inform product features and platform enhancements, ensuring alignment with clinician and workflow needs.
  • Use data and analytics to inform product roadmap strategies, track product performance, and guide future development decisions.
