About The Position

UPS is seeking passionate and ambitious Sophomore/Junior/Senior undergraduate for our 12-week 2025 Solutions summer internship program. The U.S. Customer Solutions team is responsible for developing a thorough understanding of customer processes and business objectives while articulating the value that UPS can provide as a partner. This position leverages UPS's expertise in engineering, technology, finance, and supply chain design/optimization by collaborating with the UPS Sales organization to enhance customers' businesses through value-added solutions. The Solutions Intern will work alongside local members of our U.S. Customer Solutions teams to support mid to large-size projects. This internship program provides an excellent learning environment, and UPS is seeking talented interns who are excited to learn new skills and aren't afraid to tackle big projects. With access to leadership staff and mentors, the interns will have a meaningful and supportive experience.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself.
  • A rising sophomore, junior, senior, or recent graduate within the last 24 months.
  • Must have a mode for transportation.

  • Possesses ability to communicate with all levels of management, multitask and work with cross functional teams.
  • Displays leadership attributes within classroom, projects, and/or volunteering.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, and crafts compelling storyline.
  • Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and builds presentations incorporating data visualizations/insights.
  • Aspirations for a career in solutions or sales - Highly Preferred.
  • Recent graduate or pursuing a degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, International Business, or Management Information Systems - Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews account information to identify opportunities, provides guidance to sales management on positioning and selling solutions and participates in strategy meetings.
  • Implements a post sales process to measure the success of our solutions.
  • Works with cross-functional teams including operations, solutions engineers, healthcare, sales, marketing, and UPS leadership to dynamically solve customer challenges.
  • Learns how to use a consultative sales approach to evaluate a customer's supply chain to find opportunities to present UPS solutions and insights that supports their business goals.
