About The Position

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy is accepting applications for the following coaching positions for the spring 2026 season: Upper School JV/9th Assistant Baseball Coach Assistant Girls Golf Coach JV Head Softball Coach JV Assistant Softball Coach JV Assistant Boys Tennis Coach Position Purpose The successful candidates will be coaches who are willing to develop our scholar-athletes while demonstrating strong character, professionalism, relational skills, and who are positive role models appropriately utilizing the platform of their sport. The spring season begins in late February and runs through May.

Requirements

• Varsity high school playing experience required; college playing experience preferred.
• Prior coaching experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive role model, mentor, and teacher of the sport.
• Must provide instruction to instill a strong work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, leadership, and self-confidence in players.
• Must be able to deal with a diverse array of contacts.
• Must be available for all practices and competitions during the coaching season.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• college playing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes tryouts and all practices.
• Helps players understand the program objectives.
• Communicates clear expectations to the players and parents.
• Represents the school in a manner that exhibits and promotes SCH's mission.
• Develops positive, productive relationships with the entire SCH community.
• Keeps accurate attendance records.
• Keeps the Athletic Director informed of problems and/or concerns.
• Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or his designee.
