We are seeking a dynamic Upper School Physics Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year who brings energy, creativity, and a deep love of physics and engineering into the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, student centered faculty at a mission driven independent school in metro Atlanta. About the Role The Upper School Physics Teacher will teach a full load of five sections, with total student contacts ranging from approximately 70 to 90 students. Ideal candidates will have interest and experience teaching AP Physics 1 and AP Physics C , as well as Engineering , and will approach instruction through inquiry, experimentation, discussion, and real world application. Strong candidates embrace student-centered classrooms, value relationships, and are eager to connect physics to authentic problem solving. Walker faculty contribute to the full life of the school, and preference will be given to candidates interested in coaching our Upper School Robotics Team , participating in the Middle or Upper School athletic program , or sponsoring a major student organization.
