About The Position

We are seeking an Upholstery/Production Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the upholstery department. This role combines hands-on upholstery expertise with strong leadership to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in upholstery and furniture manufacturing, with prior supervisory experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of upholstery techniques, tools, and materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily upholstery production schedules.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of upholsterers and production staff.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and efficient workflows.
• Manage resources, materials, and inventory in coordination with other departments.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot production issues and communicate progress to management.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
