About The Position

This position is responsible for performing the final inspection of high-end upholstered furniture. Essential Duties Streams various fabrics Removes any excess thread/fabric from cushions and upholstery Fastens cushions into the upholstered furniture and labels units correctly Identifies defects within the upholstered and finishes Tags defects for repair Verifies quality of high-end furniture and prints appropriate inspection label and scans for packing Returns excess COM as noted on ticket Must follow all safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous upholstery experience required
• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
• Must be able to work in noisy environments
• Frequent grasping, pushing/pulling and fine manipulation
• Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects 51-75 lbs.
