About The Position

RH is seeking an Upholstery Build-Up Associate to join our Dmitriy & Co
manufacturing location in Los Angeles.  This role requires exceptional technical
expertise and a true passion for craftsmanship. The Upholstery Build-Up
Associate will play a key part in bringing to life upholstery pieces that embody
RH’s uncompromising standards of quality and design. As a valued member of our
team, you will refine your skills, collaborate with visionary partners, and
contribute to our enduring legacy of artistry and excellence.

Requirements

• 1+ year of upholstery build-up experience in a production or workshop environment
• Proficiency in upholstery build-up techniques, including webbing, padding, and applying other materials
• Strong time management and communication skills, with a collaborative and service-oriented approach
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
• Uphold a commitment to quality, safety, and meticulous attention to detail
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and follow purchase orders, providing timely progress updates to ensure workflow efficiency
• Apply upholstery build-up techniques and production standards with precision, ensuring each piece reflects our commitment to exceptional quality
• Expertly utilize hand tools and equipment, including staple guns, webbing stretchers, hammers, scissors, and select power tools, to assemble and build up upholstery pieces with precision
• Safely handle wood frames and materials, utilizing assistance when appropriate to maintain both safety and craftsmanship integrity
• Contribute to hand-sewing, specialty projects, and other tasks as needed, supporting innovation and excellence within the upholstery team
