There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.

The Upholsterer position involves the skilled craft of upholstering inside sections of chairs and sofas. The role requires a deep understanding of upholstery materials and methods to ensure high-quality finishes on furniture pieces. The primary responsibility is to pick up units from the staging area and place them on a buck or lift for the upholstery process. The upholsterer will apply poly parts and cotton or dacron to the frame to create the desired shape for the inside arms, back, and seat of the furniture. This process includes semi-attaching the fabric over one of the inside components using tacks, pulling the fabric to achieve the correct tautness for both feel and appearance, and ensuring proper pattern matching. Once the fabric is positioned correctly, it is permanently attached using staples. This process is repeated for each component until the entire piece is completed. After finishing, the unit is placed aside for the cell assembler to move to the next location. Safety is paramount, and the upholsterer must exercise care and follow proper safety procedures to prevent injuries to themselves and their co-workers.
