About The Position

Village Coachworks, a subsidiary to Village Travel, LLC. is currently seeking a skilled Upholsterer & Cabinet Builder to fabricate, install, and repair interior components of motorcoaches that are used for the entertainment division. This role combines woodworking and upholstery expertise to create durable, high-quality interiors that meet safety standards and specifications. The role is 1st shift and depending on experience, pay ranges from $19-23.00/hr.

Requirements

Proven experience in upholstery and/or cabinet making (automotive, RV, marine, or furniture preferred)
Strong woodworking skills (cutting, joining, laminating, finishing)
Knowledge of upholstery techniques (sewing, stretching, stapling, patterning)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
Attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in confined spaces
Demonstrate excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and install custom cabinetry, panels, and trim inside motorcoaches
Build cabinets, storage units, seating bases, and interior frameworks using wood, laminates, and composites
Upholster seats, wall panels, headliners, and cushions using fabric, foam, vinyl, and leather
Repair or replace worn or damaged upholstery and cabinetry components
Interpret blueprints and design drawings accurately
Operate woodworking and upholstery tools and machinery safely
Ensure all installations meet safety, durability, and aesthetic standards
Collaborate with production teams
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations
Other duties as assigned
