About The Position
The Merchant Services Manager, who reports to the Assistant Controller for Accounting and Treasury Services, manages, supports, and mitigates risk for payment card transactions at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This role involves managing, monitoring, and enhancing the universities' merchant services operation and compliance efforts (PCI-DSS and related regulatory requirements), leading internal and external audits, and collaborating across internal and external teams to maintain a secure and compliant payment processing environment. This role also involves establishing and maintaining the institution's PCI-DSS compliance strategies ensuring that it aligns with institutional goals and regulatory requirements. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of payment processing, security protocols, and compliance frameworks to protect the institution and its customers. Key areas include: PCI-DSS Compliance Strategy and Management, Audit and Assessment Management, & Training and Cross-Functional Collaboration Efforts.
