About The Position

Kemper has immediate openings for Casualty Claims Adjusters-Unrepresented to work in our Henderson, NV office. In this position, you will be responsible for building rapport with customers. You handle claims involving injured claimants, from start to finish. We are offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment while you grow your career!

Requirements

• College Degree preferred by not required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have a minimum of 1 plus years of auto liability claims handling experience
• Prior bodily injury experience a plus but not required
• Understanding of full in-depth auto coverage for non-standard claims required
• California auto claims handling experience required
• Claims related computer systems experience required; Guidewire experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build a rapport with unrepresented claimants
• Analyze coverage
• Handle bodily injury and property damage claims
• Handle the investigation
• Take recorded statements from claimant, third party and witnesses
• Make the liability decision on claims
• Must be able to handle multiple car accidents where claimant is injured but not represented by an attorney
• In some instances, handle claims where claimant is injured and at fault party in uninsured
• Must provide excellent customer service
