INTERNSHIP DETAILS: • Internship will be well supervised with regular meetings with newsroom or production managers • Internship provides hands-on learning experiences in real-world scenarios • At the end of the internship, students should have some real-world examples, such as a resume reel, of the work they can do and what they’ve done during the internship Nexstar Media Group, Inc. Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work off hours (nights, weekends, holidays) when needed
- Must get college credit for internship
- Student must major in broadcast journalism, video production, or other communications degree
- Internship is unpaid
- Good attitude
- Ability to work well and collaborate with others and willingness to learn
- Ability to withstand working in elements (heat, rain, snow)
