About The Position

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Unmanned Systems Electronics Test Analyst/Technician to support our operations in Las Vegas, NV. This position is Temporary and anticipated to be a 2-month assignment. Must be available to start in February. There is a potential for reoccurring work. Full-time (40 hours per week) work is available. Part-time work is also available. Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Local work from home may be accommodated. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience relevant experience preferred
  • Working familiarity and experience with Unmanned Systems, particularly UAS
  • Competency in electronics disassembly, repair, and reassembly
  • Proven basic electronics repair skills, adhering to safety protocols and proper procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously under deadlines
  • Self-motivation and capability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Effective written communication skills, with the ability to produce descriptive and detailed technical reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM required
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cybersecurity penetration testing is preferred but not required.
  • May consider candidates who previously held an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for Unmanned Systems, with a focus on small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
  • Disassemble, identify components, and skillfully reassemble electronic systems
  • Conduct basic electronic repairs following component-safe procedural practices
  • Document detailed diagnostic findings and write descriptive reports, ensuring delivery within timeline expectations
